I am a product of the Bessemer City School System. During my undergraduate career at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa (Roll Tide Roll!), I pledged the greatest sorority in the world, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  One of my greatest passions is my love for dance. In 2001, I was a professional dancer for the Birmingham Steeldogs Arena Football Team.  God has blessed me with the best family in the world.  I am the proud mother of a son, Jared Kendall Pugh Jr.  He is the light of my life. My greatest accomplishment is giving my life to the Lord!!! He is my protector and provider. My philosophy of education is to constantly remind students that education is the key to success.  Without an education there are many limitations, but with an education there are no limits.
